HawaiianRyan Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 This is excellent work -- thank you! Looking forward to that Il-28 you have cooking, too. Have you given any thought to making the Yak-28 or Tu-128? 2

The bare metal effect is very nicely done, the only improvement I would love to see is support for Bort numbers, to allow more variation when one has several of these aircrafts on a mission, but overall an invaluable addition to cold war DCS 4 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Fab8ball Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Absolutely stunning mod. Would be amazing to have a flyable version with a realistic cockpit. Thanks a lot Marco_1985_IT!!! 1

Yes, and it is appreciated, but bort numbers are both more efficient disk-space-wise and allow for a far greater variety of serial numbers, and it is a nice feature of DCS that is nowadays little used by skin creators .. I understand that a problem with bort numbers is that their placement is fixed on the aircraft's skin and that means that usually it can't be used for skins that have their serials in a different place than default, as is the case often with liveries of export countries. Anyway, thanks a lot for building up the variety of aircraft assets for DCS ... looking forward to your Blinder and Beagle bombers are more desirable for me, as they can be used as targets more easily than interceptors. Would love to have a B-47 or B-58 for US, plus Mirage IV or Avro Vulcan for Europe, to be used as enemies for my MiG-21 Edit: Great article about flying this aircraft: https://hushkit.net/2019/04/26/interview-with-soviet-air-force-su-15-flagon-fighter-pilot-defending-the-ussr/ Edited February 8, 2023 by Rudel_chw 3 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
roobarbjapan Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 (edited) These are outstanding and have been desperately needed for a long time. Just amazing. For your consideration if any appropriate model is available. The Yak-38. (No but seriously thank you for these.) Edited February 9, 2023 by roobarbjapan 2 vCVW-10 - Now Recruiting - JST
Hallsy Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Great models. Su-15 is a favourite of mine and has allowed for many new PVO mission possibilities. The IL-28 will be awesome for fleshing out a Korea scenario. 1

DerRedMax Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 After the new update I can no longer select the Su-15. It shows up in the encylopdia. But under aircraft in the mission editor it is not available. I have disabled all other mods. I have noticed that missions with it already inserted it is still there. I hope this helps to fixing it. Thanks for this mod. Its great.

DerRedMax Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 That was the problem. Thank you for your response. 1
flavnet Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Indeed, the Su-15 is no longer flyable even though it appears among the selectable aircraft.

The Su-15 was never flyable, it is AI only ... kolpakov_79 Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Yes. It's hard to find information now. Only if in old libraries.
