Are there planned changes to the Patriot missile models?

There is even a picture of the new design a couple of posts up (your picture shows a dummy version of the PAC-3 CRI. I have the MSE).

Since we now have the MTVR Mk23 and the FMTV M1083. I thought, why not add the HEMTT M977 as well.

That is such a mean looking piece of military kit. Pity we can't drive these.

However it sure looks a complicated way of carting around somthing that would normally fit on a flatbed, or am I just being thick.

I take it the prime mover in this case would be used for hauling tanks? But still looks great

Ok is this a posh mobile skip, or a lazy combat tent that's about to erect itself? Us Brits never had posh trucks when I was in, we have posh trucks now as I get stuck behind the army training school drivers, in their new posh trucks.

Bin man would definately get stuck in our street if he brought that for the weekly trash

Haha, it's the mobile anti-ballistic missile system called THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense). It's made for taking out incoming ballistic missiles.

The first vehicle is the launcher and the second one is the AN/TPY-2 radar, with a range of 2500 nautical miles. It can also be used in combination with the Patriot system.

Hi CH ,

Thanks for the reply, I'm no longer up to date on the ground bound missile lobbing fraternity, but I still have my "SPACE COMMAND" badge from 5 years with the USAAF. We watched out for the big stuff going East/West.  Motto then was "Guardians of the high frontier". Now been renamed something rubbish by the previous White House occupant.

Nice to know what i'm hovering over, as I learn Helo's and what I'm aiming at when I try Hellfires. Thanks for your AMAZING WORK:thumbsup:

Hello. I have a problem installing an entire package. Previously, when the mods were separate, it was easier. And now it doesn’t work out. I think many people have this problem, and if it’s not hard, the record for installing videos into saved games without any programs, just manually. Thank you very much in advance.
P.S. Everything was written through a translator.

Simply remove ALL your mods, then start adding them. There are definitely  left overs on your saved games/mods folder

Просто удалите ВСЕ ваши моды, а затем начните их добавлять. В папке сохраненных игр/модов определенно есть остатки.

I didn't have them

This is gonna be AWESOME!  Also, out of curiosity, did you get these 3D models from MVRsimulation?  And if so, do you plan to include other components of the THAAD battery like the Cooling Equipment Unit and the Electronic Equipment Unit?  Based on some infographics, the typical THAAD battery also has a Prime Power Unit, and a Tactical Fire Control & Communications formation.  The Tactical Fire Control & Communications formation comes with a Tactical Operations Station, a Launch Control Station, and a Tactical Station Group; the Tactical Station Group is made of several vehicles although I can fully understand if you don't include all these components, at least for the time being.

Thanks. Yeah, that's a common issue for me. 99% of the time I can only get my hands on the basic parts of a system, like the radars and the launchers. Often there are issues even finding the different kind of radars also. I would at least want to include an ECS (TFCC). It won't be perfect, but better than nothing.

These models aren't from MVR Simulation, I don't even think you can buy models from them. And they seem to be pretty low res.

Well, fair enough.  These 3D models take a lot of time and money to make, and half the time, nobody wants to buy a 3D model of what is essentially an HEMTT or FMTV with a box and some funny-looking antennas sticking out of it.  So that's understandable.

As for buying models from MVRsimulation, I think it's possible, but it would be quite challenging.   Not saying that it's impossible, but I guess given how all these models look so pixelated and stuff with unrefined edges, I think you're right in saying that it's not worth the trouble.
