RWC Posted September 5 Posted September 5 (edited) Yes indeed, very impressive. Most of all, to see most of the 'publicly known' long range missile types and vehicles. Even the different types of aircraft display and drone/ drone launch vehicles. But of course, what I was hoping for most, was to get ideas and inspiration for additional mods and missiles. Floyd1212 Posted Tuesday at 03:11 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:11 AM Some of the members of my Apache squadron are experiencing major frame drop when looking in the direction of the Russian S-350 assets. As in, the units are 50 miles away and through mountains, but when looking in their direction the frames drop into the teens. I personally don't have the issue, but several others do. One of them flew a Hornet tonight and didn't experience any frame drop, then got back into the Apache and had the same issue again. Is anyone else experiencing something like this, either in the Apache or otherwise?

Is anyone else experiencing something like this, either in the Apache or otherwise? It's because the assets in my mod packs doesn't have a Level Of Detail (LOD) configuration. Using this technique the models will be replaced with ones with much less polygons the further away they are. Without LODs your computer will have to calculate the max poly version of the asset regardless of the distance to you. My core DCS assets all have LODs, and I'm currently adding it to the mod packs also, but it'll take a while before it will be done to all of them. 6 _____________________________________________________________ Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill Questions about my assets - check my FAQ! Glad to hear LOD is coming to all your packs. Any reason why the problem would go away for one player while in the Hornet, then come back again in the Apache? That part is what seemed odd to me. 1
DD_Friar Posted yesterday at 11:11 AM Posted yesterday at 11:11 AM @ASW could it be this....check out my thread... Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. We are a group based on having fun (no command structure, no expectations of attendance, no formal skills required, that is not to say we can not get serious for special events, of which we have many). We play DCS and IL2 GBS. We have two groups one based in North America / Canada and one UK / Europe. Come check us out.

Previously, it was connected to the A-4 module. The fact is that there is no sound only in multiplayer and not all units. For example, the air defense has a sound... GreyCat_SPb
DD_Friar Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago @ASW Do you have any other mods that could have the Sounders file structure issue that is causing a conflict? I don't use any mods from CH so perhaps am trying to help from a base of sand, so to speak, but sometimes the obvious things can get overlooked and it takes someone with no preconceptions on the subject to chime in. Apologies if you have already covered off all these bases. Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. Alekseysdmtech Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) These are officially approved, so everything is clear with them. But what about the ones downloaded from the website that need to be installed on a dedicated server? Edited 7 hours ago by Alekseysdmtech
