I agree, thanks for testing. It’s hard to get exactly as we want it with the tools available. 👍🏻

With the M version, about half way through the flight i have one at 250k feet, the other one is at 73k feet, the higher one kept climbing and descending and eventually overshot and landed 130nmi past its target while the lower one hit the target

Strange, I've fired hundreds of them without issues. Can you send me a miz?

issue seems to occur only when firing close to max range, just fired at a closer target and both hit fine

Thanks for bringing that up. That's actually a strange DCS behavior (bug). If you fire two rounds of missiles they just go haywire. If I set two different fire missions with one missile each, it works as it should. 👍🏻

I couldn't tell you why that is, but it's nothing I can do about it.

image.pngRWR and HARM IDs 1.0.0 released!
Changelog Version 1.0.0

  • Release version

On my site you will now find a tab called RDR which will have the latest version of my RWR and HARM ID package. These install either with OvGME or manually into the program folder, just check the folder structure in the package. There are two files in it, the first one is the RWR definitions for my assets and the second one is the HARM IDs. I've tried the HARM IDs by manually adding the codes in the F-16 and it works. But I'm no Viper/Hornet pro, so you'll have to try it out. On my site you will also find an overview of all the codes per asset.

The RWR definitions does not include the ones Nighthawk have added, it's only core game plus my assets. I have to think of a way to maintain this efficiently.

It works perfectly (tested with the F-16), many thanks!

Great work as always Currenthill. One thing I have noticed is that the Tor M2s seem to look a bit different than the Tor M1 in-game. They obviously use different radar sensors, but I've noticed the turret seems to be placed father aft in your mod.

Still no way for vertically incoming ballisting missile? (except recaluclating scud parameters table)

Yeah, might be the pivot point that's off. But I never claim my models to be a 1:1 replica of the real deal. Most dimensions gathered via OSINT are speculations. And newer the systems, the fewer the reference pictures. So I try to achieve a good enough representation. Otherwise the release schedule would look very different, haha.

In this case, I think I can live with it. 😜

Nope, that's the way to do it. And it requires math on a different level than I can muster. And the 9M723 is considered a semi-ballistic missile.
