Ive gotten this one and it works but the motors are way weaker than Andre Jet Pad motors. they just dont shake as much. any tricks ? Which software do you use ? On mine, I nearly have everything set to 80 to 90. 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC

If I cant find a way to fix my JET pad, thats what I will have to do, i am afraid but image how stronger the motor in the jet pad are, if I were to put them at 80-90 (currently they are in between 20 and 50 for most) [sIGPIC]https://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic70550_3.gif[/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-H - SSD M.2 EVO 970 - Intel I9 @5.0ghz - 32gb DDR4 4000 - EVGA 3090 - Cougar FSSB + Virpil WRBRD + Hornet Stick - Thrustmaster TPR Pedal + WinWing MIP + Orion + TO and CO pannels - Track IR5

SSA was written for Jet Pad. It's only by luck that it works with HF8 and even if it works well, it do not work exactly the same way 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC
dsc106 Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Can anyone offer a more updated direct comparison between the NLR HF8, Andre’s jetseat, and Andre’s jetpad? I’ve read conflicting things, everything from the HF8 is an upgrade, to its weaker, etc. I’d be using SSA - in fact I’m using it now with a buttkicker, and so the HF8 or jetpad would be in addition. One massive pro for tge hf8 is how easy to buy is, or return in case you dislike. Your can even buy it via Amazon. rapid Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 The HF8 has 8 Motors while Andre's has on 6 motors. rapid Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Yes just checked Andre now has 8 motors. Things to look at first is the cost of each unit. With the HF8 you can use both software. Andre has been doing this a long time And aesthetics. Take your pick. Mordants Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I've had the jetseat from Andre and whilst I agree it is stronger in the vibration effects it is I find uncomfortable to sit on for long periods. I also bumped it up with extra padding with little detrimental effect to the vibrations. It has now failed and will not connect. So if anyone wants any spares from it let me know soon. I now have the HF8 which is a lot weaker in vibration effects but I can sit on it alot longer. With it being weaker (even with maxed out settings, using Andres software) I find it's not overly intrusive and for me the background vibrations are more subtle. How long did you have Andre's prior to failure, and how many hours estimate? (just a ballpark is fine). It sounds like the subtler vibration effects still suit immersion just fine for your tastes? I also have a buttkicker I would pair, so maybe the stronger feeling from buttkicker + subtlety from the HF8 wouldn't be so bad? It seems to want to get a telemetry stream from DCS.. Which one ? SSA or NLR ? By the way, the 2 requires telemetry from DCS. When you install them, they'll add 1 or more lines in export.lua in the script folder (in saved games). You normally have nothing to as it's automatic. BUT, do not have NLR and SSA softwares installed at same time because they'll conflict. You need only 1 of the 2, SSA the better. 06th Multirole Helicopter Regiment Bataillon d'hélicoptères de combat - Escadrille FENNEC

Because you can only do that, change the force value of the effect. If you are doing something else, it's not supported. NLR software use not so much effects. And I really do not miss the 2 unused motors. With 6, it's already really good.
