VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
Is there a control which, by hitting it, switches AB on and hitting it again then only full mil power? Thanks in advanced. I Fly, Therefore I Am. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9BDi-STaqgWsjNiHbW0fA Make OH-6A Official!
Akiazusa
You mean detent fingerlifts ? I haven't find one. But I think you could custom the throttle range for afterburner in the special settings as an alternate. Edited February 22, 2023 by Akiazusa 1 Kyoto Animation forever! Correct, in there you can adjust the points for Idle and for AB: 1 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
What I mean is something like this: Well, F-16 now has the same thing, but the case of F-14 is a bit more complicated. razo+r
There is no detent in it currently, however, ingame, it stops at the detent and stays there for a short distance of movement of your real throttle input.
Joch1955
As I recall reading, there is a physical detent in the real plane so the pilot knows when he is reaching the AB, but there is no button/finger lift required to push through into AB.

Both ways achieve the same objective, and Razbam’s saves you a Hotas control to use on something else. Galinette
It can be useful for people without detent on their throttle, finding the MIL position without going AB might be difficult. However, a bind that does move throttle from/to AB is a bad idea as it will fight against axis jitter. Adding a bind that would prevent/unlock the AB range is a better idea. I'll add one, it's not the first time someone asks for it.

Thanks in advanced. For that purpose I use afterburner shutdown switch binded to the throttle buttons. It just require to open the red flap prior to use the switch. null 1 Natural Born Kamikaze ------------------------- AMD Ryzen 5 3600, AMD Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 32 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX, PSU Modecom Volcano 750W, Logitech G940 HOTAS, Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder.
