Gierasimov Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 When you drop landing gear the SPD BRK retracts, and yes you can manually extend it if needed. It corresponds to what the gentleman in the clip says. 1 Intel i7-13700KF :: ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI D4 :: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB :: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio :: VKB Gunfighter MK.III MCG Ultimate :: VPC MongoosT-50 CM3 :: non-VR :: single player :: open beta

jaylw314 Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 (edited) IIRC with the gear down, you have to hold the speed brake switch in the open position if you want it to stay open. Edited February 25, 2023 by jaylw314

It doesn't depend on the Landing Gear, but the IAS & other variables of the jet: >250 : Speed brake stays open wherever you leave it, you have to retract manually when required >250 + pulling >6G turn : auto retracts >250 + >28° AoA : auto retracts <250 : Speed brakes extended only while holding the button in the aft position. Auto retracts when released Flaps @ Half/Full : auto retracts Flaps @ Half/Full + Weight on Wheels : stays open 250 kts happens to be when you're dropping the gear Edited February 24, 2023 by niru27 3 1
Gierasimov Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 I was too lazy to open the document Thanks! Nor speed, nor landing gear doesn't make speed break to auto retract. Only flaps down do that.
