I updated DCS last night then turned computer off. Booted up awhile later and Windows Defender in Windows 11 Pro flagged this file as a virus.

Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!@ml. Its a Combined Arms file.

At first I didnt catch that it was from DCS and seeing that WD was saying its severe I isolated the threat.

After booting into DCS I got a Combine Arms not available message. I turned off WD and repaired my installation and now CA is working properly but it keeps triggering a WD warning even though WD is now turned off.

I also have the same issue. That file is in quarentine by windows defender win10. Maybe it is dangerous. I prefer not to reinstall it until ED says something.

Do you really believe that Eagle Dynamics would want to deliver a Trojan to your PC ?   Google what an "antivirus false positive" is.

It's not the first time that a new DCS beta release get flagged by your anti-virus.
After encountering it for the first time, i've set Windows Defender not to scan DCS (+ every other installed sim) and saved/games folders. Been running like this ever since.

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
