Is it me, or does the screen shot on the SimHQ homepage show a JDAM on the left fuselage hard point?

EDIT: SimHQ have the same shot at 1920x1200 on their site, and at that resolution it certainly appears to be a 500lb JDAM, looks to me to have the grey fins that form part of the JDAM kit. Obviously IRL the A-10C can carry JDAM, but there has been some doubt regarding them being included in DCS:A-10C.

I wanna see a better CBU-97/AGM-154 model with close2real (smart) BLU-108 effect

God yes! Would be nice is CBU-97s were modelled properly in a sim, love using them in Falcon, here's hoping.

I, too, was going to pass it up...but now I'm not too sure. The price point is STILL a concern but it's definitely something I'm going to have to think about getting in the future.

Indeed, I need a cold shower and new underwear!

God only knows what's going to happen when they publish the A-10C preview, I might get the paramedics on standby just incase.

Nope doesn't have one, says so in the article. You'll have to mod it to USB.

Looks like an ECM pod to me.

from SimHQ:

Matt Wagner re-confirmed tonight that unless there is some kind of very unforeseen technical problem, DCS: A-10C Warthog will definitely be a 2010 release.

:helpsmilie:

So now, is it a bad or good news ?

Next Xmas still in 2010

I doubt you'll get a more definitive release date until much closer to release. Since we're in June now I'm going to bet on a 2010 Q3-4 release ;)

I don't want to start any rumors, so take this as speculation, but from what I gathered from the (Google translated) Russian thread for the fan translation of the A-10 manual, they want to have it (the manual) ready by the end of summer. So my personal estimate is September/October 2010, leaning towards the latter.

Yep, that's been my guess as well since the start of this year. Solely based on the fact that I'm away on deployment again from September to January and would therefore be unable to play until I get back. Looks like I was right all along
