how to select a specific hellfire in a mixed loadout

I have a mixed loadout with 4 laser hellfires on the right wing and 4 radar hellfires on the left wing. I can put mode into manual (wpn page->mode MAN) and change the hellfire with the missile advance switch depress button I mapped. However, the selected hellfire is only on the right wing with the laser hellfires. I cannot select any of the other hellfires on the left wing. How do I switch over to the other complement of hellfires?

If as the pilot: it won't be possible to action the RF missiles until the FCR or datalink are in place. You will have to rely on George/CPG to shoot the RF missiles.

If as the CPG: Sight select TADS, then action missiles, then on the WPN page, select where it says "TYPE" to toggle between RF and SAL missiles.

Ensure you have TADS as acquisition source.

I fulfilled both requirements but clicking on R1 (SAL) does not change it to RF. I am using an edited version of the laser hellfire training mission which I copied over to the Saved Games->DCS.openbeta->missions folder. I simply copy/pasted the apache in that mission, gave it a mixed loadout and flew the mission.

I did discover that the Sight Select switch (not the acquisition source)  needs to be for TADS  and now it works.

Now the FCR is with us, I found I can change from SAL to RF but not back again, I'm assuming pilot error here...?

Which seat? What is your selected sight?

When FCR is sight, only RF missiles can be selected. When TADS is sight, either can be selected. When HMD is sight, only SAL can be selected.

This works as expected for me.

Either seat, i can switch from SAL to RF but not RF to SAL, im trying to disengage fcr and get the tads display up again but cant select SAL. Im not engaging HMD in the front seat, just the centre screen/TADS

sorted, was switching tads/fcr on the display but not on the grip button. Remapped a couple of controls.
