Today’s DCS newsletter mentioned “tunnels under Paris”…

Can we get an explanation of the tunnels?

Are they able to be navigated using Combined Arms?

If you drop a bomb near one, will it collapse?  If so, does this slow down AI ground forces?

Sorry, this is the first I have ever heard of tunnels in a map, and I just don’t understand what the tunnels are for and how they affect gameplay.

Several maps have already tunnels in them. You can drive through them. And I believe if you bomb the entrance, it will be blocked, however, I am not 100% certain anymore.

Might not be able to destroy the tunnels. Many static objects don’t have the same damage model. My first wake up call to that was thinking I could breach a dam, nope. We’ll just have wait and see.

Perhaps it means stuff like this, where the metro lines are exposed to the sky, though still technically “sous-sol”.
