Raven434th Posted June 9, 2023 Author Posted June 9, 2023 I've always had vsync enabled...the difference is between patches MODUALS OWNED AH-64D APACHE, Ka-50, UH-1H, Mi-8MTV2, Mi-24,MiG-29 FF, Gazelle, FC3, A-10C, A-10CII, Mirage 2000C, F-14 TOMCAT, F/A-18C HORNET, F-16C VIPER, AV-8B/NA, F-15 E, F-4 Phantom, MiG-21Bis, L-39, F-5E, AJS 37 Viggen, MiG-19, F-86, MiG-15Bis, Spitfire IX, Bf-109K, Fw-190D, P-51D, CA, COLD WAR GERMANY,SYRIA, AFGHANISTAN,NEVADA, NORMANDY, PERSIAN GULF, MARIANA ISLANDS,SUPER CARRIER, WORLD WAR II ASSETS PACK, HAWK T1 SYSTEM SPECS AMD 7600X 4.7 Ghz CPU , MSI RX 6750 12 gig GPU ,32 gig ram on Win11 64bit.
GremlinIV Posted June 10, 2023 Posted June 10, 2023 You should physically check if Vsync is on as - when the patch causes an authorisation problem it deletes some of your settings held in the Options lua. May not be the case but check them This unchecked my rudder trim and reset trim from centre spring to default in the Huey Worth a look... took me longer to type this than to check .....

There is a mod that redraws the cockpit, so you don`t loose graphic quality but remains fps high, you must enable medium in second dcs graphics option and is a huge fps saver. Raven434th Posted June 25, 2023 Author Posted June 25, 2023 (edited) Sorry for the late reply I was in a competition...seems it was the video setting enabling the gunner video input to the pilot seat mfd that caused the fps drop...but I also think it depends on which map your on as well....still I don't think it should drop the way it does even if it requires a bit more video ram...but that's my opinion. I seem also to remember the blackshark having a similar problem years ago but it got a fix. Maybe something could be done for the apache.
