Seems like a lovely tool to use when I'm away from my PC ... however, this catched my attention:

Can we really expect a South East Asia Map anytime soon?  🙂

Looking forward to the Editor, the possible ability of copying missions from one map onto another whets my apetite  🙏

Thanks. I hope ED is already working on SEA.

Otherwise we will build it as a community at some point.

You can load a mission file directly from DCS User Files using the Load remote mission button. And for example you can go directly to Unit#85 by adding &unitId=85 to the url. Or you can go to specific lat lon coordinates. This is useful for embedding into iframes or for showing problems in your mission to other users

i.e. Go to unit 85

https://dcs-web-editor.github.io/dcs-web-viewer-deploy/?load=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.digitalcombatsimulator.com%2Fuserfiles%2F95f%2F90t4yjdxqwx485v38n4ge8er7bk7m0z9%2FF16_RNLAF_ISIS_Base_160129_NoMods.miz&zoom=17&unitId=85

Go to lat lon zoom:

https://dcs-web-editor.github.io/dcs-web-viewer-deploy/?load=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.digitalcombatsimulator.com%2Fuserfiles%2F95f%2F90t4yjdxqwx485v38n4ge8er7bk7m0z9%2FF16_RNLAF_ISIS_Base_160129_NoMods.miz&zoom=17&lat=36.951397233614&lon=37.464512889798#

Go to line 75 in mission.lua script
https://dcs-web-editor.github.io/dcs-web-viewer-deploy/?load=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.digitalcombatsimulator.com%2Fuserfiles%2F95f%2F90t4yjdxqwx485v38n4ge8er7bk7m0z9%2FF16_RNLAF_ISIS_Base_160129_NoMods.miz&zoom=17&lat=36.951397233614&lon=37.464512889798&line=75

Can you maybe allow it integrate realtime uploading of people's export.lua file for realtime unit display on embedded websites or is that not an ability without an API service?  Is there a coordinate only export in the form of excel or parsed text?  Thanks for your work and time.

An upload function is planned.
For now, it can load missions directly from DCS User Files, i.e.

https://dcs-web-editor.github.io/dcs-web-viewer-deploy/?load=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.digitalcombatsimulator.com%2Fuserfiles%2F95f%2F90t4yjdxqwx485v38n4ge8er7bk7m0z9%2FF16_RNLAF_ISIS_Base_160129_NoMods.miz&zoom=17&unitId=85

Use the "Load remote mission" button

You can SAVE or LOAD your paintings/ scribbles / texts as json files. They are saved as latitude/longitude coordinates, so they will appear exactly on the map where you put them.

You can now drag & drop icons for planning. And save/load measurements and icons.
There's also a screenshot button which hides the UI. (Doesnt work with SkyVector layers.)

There's a new Search feature for finding units or jumping to MGRS coordinates.

Dima's guides are now available, with friendly permission
