Campaigns like Raven One (both of them) or Fear the Bones are magnificent pieces of artwork with excellent production value and a lot of immersion. If that is your thing then my opinion is that it is worth buying SC (maybe on sale if budget is tight) to have access to those. But then again, it depends on your taste and the type of experience your are looking for in DCS.

Imho the Supercarrier is already worth the money, and let's not forget it will get even better with the ready room and air boss station.

I will never forget the first time I had a cat shot from the Supercarrier (in VR)

(I wish we had an interactive ground crew / chief implemented for land based cold starts, but that is another story)

If you like carrier operations the SC is certainly worth the money. It adds realism with the deckcrew, it has the FLOLS landing aid and gives even more extra's. There is a summer sale going on now if I'm not mistaken in which I got it myself too, it's half the price right now.

thank you very much! everyone! i have decided to get it along with the rising squall and and the raven one campaigns and maybe some others

my questions is, when i looked it up on YouTube some missions can be really long, is there a a save mechanic so say 30 minutes into the mission i fail it somehow, i don't want to do that over and over again.

and if you can not save during missions, is there maybe a use mode that introduces a feature like that?

Nope, no saves by default. Some campaign makers build their missions in two parts or allow an air start right before the action but it's tricky to manage and quite time-consuming for them so it's rarely done.

Speaking of campaigns, there's a free one that any Hornet driver should try, it's as good as most paid campaigns and even better than many :

Im not sure why we need the ready room. Everything else, yeah...but the ready room? Thats where the Phantom Sh1tter hangs out at 1am.

On today's episode of "Did You Know", Cessna Skyhawk crashes into cemetery; over 800 found dead as workers keep digging.

From English Wikipedia:

"One personal view from a World War II pilot stated:

The funny thing about a ready room is that you get attached to the hole. As much as you are attached to the ship. It's more than sentiment. It's an urge for protection. The loneliest feeling in the whole of a carrier pilot's world is when he's at sea with the gas running low, and he can't see his carrier. You think of the ready room then, and the noisy guys who make it the most desirable place in the world. It's your office, you live in it, it is the big thing in your life. […] You sweat and worry in it, and grouse and argue, and you get mad at it when you can't hear yourself speak because everyone is yelling at once, but you're deeply attached to the place.

It may take a lot of work and time for ED but I hope they try to get close to this step by step.
