fixed Hit and impact damage sounds

The hit sounds in DCS are really bad you can hardly hear them and sometimes not at all. Bullets or Cannon rounds hitting the skin of the plane should sound more like beating on a garbage can with a large bat. A pilot would know right away he got hit. But the sound here is so low many times you never know you were even hit.

Hi, Try adjusting In world, and in cockpit sounds under audio settings. Aso try turning "Hear like in helmet" to off. see if that helps.

In a real plane you would feel the vibration of the hits on the skin. Here we only have sound to go by and it is not there.

You should feel vibrations from damage, meaning if you have holes and such, the plane will shake and vibrate more (this is missing). I don't see an issue with impact sounds really. Do you have "hear like in Helmet" checked, that will muffle all sounds somewhat.
