fixed Game Crash on Jettison Weapons

Hi everyone,

 

When attempting to jettison weapons on the Mi8 the game crashes to the desktop.

The video recording is attached.

What I've tried:

• Remove all add-ons (no effect)
• Cleanup and repair DCS (no effect)

 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a mission in the Caucasus with a single Mi8 (Ramp start hot)
2. Add weapons to Mi8 (use video for reference)
3. Start mission and jettison weapons

 

Expected:

Weapons are jettisoned

Actual:

The game crashes to desktop.

Just tried it and yes, it does, unfortunately.

OK, did a test on my end. CTD is caused by GUV pods, if you have anything else, jettison works just fine.

HI @mousepilot. This bug was fixed in June in DCS Open Beta.

Are you running OB (2.8.7.42583) or Release (2.8.4.39731) version of DCS?

Hi @Flappie,

I'm running the latest OB (2.8.7.42583).

I did notice the similarity with the other reported issue. But in my case, the game crashes even with symmetrical layouts.

Let me know if you need more info or logs.

Issue reproduced and reported. Thank you both.

Once a fix is ready, I'll make sure both jettison and crash CTDs are fixed this time.
