requested earlier Hard limit on head movement possible?

Hi, I wondered if there was a way to prevent, ( usually when in BFM and looking around frantically!!) or to avoid your virtual head going through the canopy or seat? I realise I can of course buy some straps for my seat and that would do it!!

not yet, there is some debate about how that would make people feel nausea-wise, but I also know @BIGNEWY said that ED was looking into it...I believe it is done (allegedly) in the other WW2 sim ...

It is, and I find it quite annoying and almost nauseating. If it is implemented in DCS, I hope it will be optional.

My best advice is: Just don´t do it !
My head never leaves the cockpit unless I deliberately try to do it.

Do you strap yourself to your seat? Might be the best option.

No, though I don´t use an office chair that could move left/right. My seat is fixed, so I´d have to actively lean out of the chair to reach through the cockpit glass.

I just mentioned it, because the whole thing was discussed in this forum before and some people wanted this to be enforced (though I can´t find the thread anymore)

I think I remember seeing that now. Yes, Definitely needs to be optional.

We have an older thread here 

We have requested the head limits be looked at, the problem is it is a harder task than we first thought and needs careful consideration. It is doubtful we would enforce this as it can make gameplay uncomfortable for some users especially in VR. A fade option is being considered also but have no news to share currently.

Agreed for most aircraft, with one exception. That being the Mosquito. Looking over my left shoulder as pilot is almost impossible without going through the glass.
