I was going to post this reply in my post but someone merged my thread to an older bug thread to which there are no more comments allowed.  So I'm posting again here because I think it is important to note that the knob was in IFA.  There not being any more comments allowed in the other thread--what does it mean for a solution then?  It sounds like a long standing bug, and so it's been unsolved for a long time now?  For how long?  I've used CCIP before even recently as a couple days ago and I only started experiencing this now.

Inthis video you can see the CCIP line is straight at the start, but once I turn, it goes off.  I tried it under lower G in this video, but also in high g and both did the same.  Note the knob in IFA and this is a stock mission, but I've also seen it happen in other missions with the knob in IFA

If you are flying a REDFOR F-18 or during a time before GPS is available, you will rely on INS only (unless unrestricted SATNAV is enabled in the mission options). This means that the longer you fly the greater the error will be. You can fix that temporarily by doing a NAV fix with for example a TACAN station.

As for the Bug, it has been reported in 2020 but it has likely been there for much longer than that.

No, I was flying BluFor, and it was from the very start of the mission.

I've ol;y started experiencing this bug a few days ago, and I've been flying the Hornet regularly.

Speaking of which, now that you provided a video, the tilt of the pipper looks to be due to wind, not INS issue. Just look at how offset the smoke is.

This was to show that it happens from the very start, even while I'm still on deck.

 

If it was due to the wind, I don't know why that would be since we should be sailing into the wind.  After launch, the CCIP goes straight again, and then after a turn, it's skewed again.

The mission I was flying off the boat shows wind is 7 m.s on the ground and 0 m.s everywhere else.

HEre is the stock Caucasus  weapons practice mission.  The CCIP skewed to the left after the turn.  In case it was wind, I turned 180 deg and flew back but the CCIP was still skewed left (should be right since I'm flying back) albeit it wasn't as skewed as it was before.

Well, on ground you don't really care what the pipper shows. Maybe the computer can't even compute it accurately. You can see it spazzing out when you are on a moving carrier without any wind. You can also see it spazzing out a bit on the ground when moving. Maybe there's just something weird going on when you are on the ground, especially on a moving ship.

 

But once you are in air, the behaviour is as expected when you fly in a complete crosswind of 14Kts with high drag bombs.

7Kts on ground and 14Kts at 1600 feet. Those two are directly coupled in DCS. So at 2000ft you might still be in the influence of the 14Kts of 1600ft.

There is no wind in this mission. After your first left turn, the pipper is perfectly straight. It aligns with the central bird slicer. After that it gets weird. I see that yours is off, but when I tried it, mine was completely center. I have no explanation for this.
