Hey there,

in a mission that  could play without problems for a while, DCS now always crashes after some seconds, sometimes I even get a blue screen. I attached a log file (this time I didnt have a bluescreen). Any idea what the problem seems to be? dcs.log-20231202-165529.zip

You getting an IN_PAGE_ERROR, which means DCS cannot read a file.

Do a slow repair. Also try with all your mods removed (You have a lot installed).

Thanks, Adrian. I put all of my mods in the Saved Games Folder into another folder, deleted Metashader2 and FXO content, ran a Steam repair and checked my harddrive with the windows tools. Still DCS crashes - as I see now, not only in the Sinai Map, but on the other maps, too. Here's two more logs:  dcs.log-20231202-174823.zipdcs.log-20231202-174824.zip

You now crashing in zlib library. Also a IN_PAGE_ERROR.

You might have a corrupted memory stick or disk drive. Run a memory test and a disk hardware test to be sure.

Can't find anything with the windows tools. Can this stuff be also caused by something like a possibly faulty USB hub or USB controller? I noticed that one of my Thrustmaster MFDs behaves kinda weird lately, constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. I use it (and other stuff) together with an active USB hub. Didn't happen before, but I guess it can also be a symptome of my SSD drive quitting (?)

Allright, I got DCS working again. I did several things:

- deacticated mods (that alone didn't work, though)

- opened up my computer, dusted off the cooling fans and put aside some cables that were touching my RAM blocks

- disconnected my USB hub.

So one of those things helped. If I have time, I might try out if the USB hub or the mods were to blame by putting them back in, one by one. Thanks a lot for your help!
