POLL: Would you rather see A-10 or AH-64a as next module?

Here is a simple poll that I have searched the forum for and have not seen. I'm just curious to see how many favour the AH-64a Apache over the A-10c Warthog as the next module. I vote AH-64a Apache all the way baby!!!:thumbup:

Well I voted AH-64 even when I know the A-10 will be out first. And you know why?

 

Because we had the A-10 in LOMAC already and I'm longing for something new.

And as giant said, BS made me chopper hungry and it would even the team. chopper sessions could be started with the Ka-50 on one side and the AH-64 on the other.

Air-to-ground in the helicopter on both sides !

I´d love to see a two seater Apache with the option :

 

- to fly with a computer generated WSO and :pilotfly:

 

- to fly with a buddy in the same Helicopter :pilotfly::pilotfly:

 

in a Multiplayer Coop Mission / Campaign.

The D will prolly not be done in the near future. ED only does AC that they have information on to make it as realistic as possible. I would think too much of the D model is classified.

 

I voted HOG. That is what is coming next from ED so that is what I voted for. I can't wait to get the HOG version and to began making missions and campaigns for the HOG with the new enhancements of the Mission Builder. I then can't wait to see the AH-64A if that is what comes after the HOG as it hasn't been set in stone what is after the HOG. I just hope ED can weather these hard times and can make enough sales to continue the DCS line of products.

Voted for the Hog, Mainly because it is one all time favourite of mine. I'm eager to try this new "electric" Hog A lot of cockpit changes over the "A" So I'm in Hog heaven!

My vote is for AH-64D (yes, I prefer D version). I love the A-10 but the last time I fly an Apache it was in Apache Havoc, long time ago.

I agree, with you. We have already had jet sims out there with LOMAC and Flaming Cliffs. We certainly didn't see any choppers in those sims. I'm not saying however that we shouldn't see any jets come out for this series. Its just been a long time before Black shark that we have seen any good Chopper sims. I've enjoyed playing jet sims as well, but the truth is I have just gotten plain bored with them. I think that bringing out some fresh chopper sims is totally the way to go. Then it will satisfy our craving for those. Then who knows, maybe we'll get bored of those and we will be craving the jets again. I think that would be a better time for ED to bring out those jet sims. Then they will be getting my money as well. I would definitely love to see more Choppers coming out with this series, including the Cobra!! But that is just my opinion. :)

I would be glad with the A10 next. Sure, I wouldn't complain if the Ah64 was next :), but for me the fact that we had an A10 in Lomac means nothing. I mean, given the standard of the Ka50 the A10 is going to be a totally different bird to what we had we had in lockon. I imagine it will make Lo's A10 look positively arcade.

A-10C - not that it matters. Even the A-10A would have been simulated to a standard that no other entertainment simulation has achieved.
