I'm not taking in account if each modules have a long list of fixes or just one, and not including 3rd parties.

This is only partially helpful because not all touches are equal. UH-1H and L-39 are just a few modules with long-term bugs, L-39 got a new obvious bug introduced in 2.9. Those are long term stable modules which simply still have many bugs. I don't expect all of them being fixed, I'm a SW developer, so I know how things are. But having little to no hope majority of them will - and we're talking about well documented bugs, some of them known for years - is kinda sad. Are the modules broken? No, definitely not. But they are full of control inconsistencies, missing or broken animations, etc.

So the statictics in the Boolean terms (touched/untouched) is right, but doesn't paint the whole picture. Perhaps the module got some love in 2024 when it's not on the list anymore, but oftentimes not enough love by a wide margin.

That will be the second phase.

First, confirm if all modules have some "love" during the year. At least, this year it seems true.

Second, lets see the quality of these updates. Are they are resolving bugs? adding new features? or just cosmethics?

Since almost all modules got some touch (some only literal touch) it's time to upgrade the requirements: let them do at least 1 meaningful fix per module (meaning not mere mission edit, skin addintion, bind correction or just label spelling, you know what I mean) and maybe also add 3rd party modules (Razbam doesn't count atm).

Moving the goal posts now lol 🙂 

The dev team have tasks and priorities, that may not be the same priority as what you or I want but as you can see through our changelogs work is being done. We have addressed many issues on our modules already this year, and we still have some more patches to come.

  • Pylon loadout configuration standardized with modern DCS standards: Now the default setup is empty pylons but pylons can be removed to have a 'clean' aircraft.

  • The F1BE rear seat safety pin doesn't block the front seat ejection anymore.
  • F1BE rear seat VOR/ILS control panel is now properly initialized to 'ON' state at hot start.
  • Fixed pre-programmed radio frequencies of F1BE and F1EE Iraq quickstart missions.
  • F1BE rear seat cockpit lighting is off, and rear seat safety pin is installed now when the 'Solo Flight' option is enabled.

DCS: UH-1H Peacekeeper Lebanon Campaign by Flying Cyking

  • Mission 1: Adjusted ADF Almirante Lynch Frequency to 380Khz to Avoid overlap with Gecitkale overlap. Adjusted Kneeboard with new frequency. Adjusted Voice Overs with ADF Frequency. Rework of approaching ship VO, taken out the black smoke advice. Smoke is white now. Subtitle correction.
  • Mission 5: Further Hover Trigger adjustment. Switched off Nav Radio by Default in Hot Start Version to avoid annoying beep beep tone.
  • Mission 6: Checked Camp Marjayoun rearm function and resaved Mission due to some players seem to have problems with rearming at the camp. Cannot reproduce.

  • Mission 10: Adjustments of Briefing text.

You know I'm not saying that DCS is not having improvements. That's not the point of the discussion.

The point is there are modules having very few bug fixes, and some bugs are not resolved since years. In the other hand, there are modules receiving updates very frequently. That lead to some customer to think (and to complaint) about some modules are abandoned. Now, you can start to argue that ED is a little team, there are priorities, ...

I understand what you are trying to do but I am giving context, we do a lot of work on each patch. Its not just about each module, more than half of our team work on the core of DCS. 

We can only work with the resources we have.

There was talk about this 5 years ago Officially from ED about giving us a public bug tracker ->

 

But 2 years later ED back tracked and decided not to do it, which was a shame sadly
