dutchili Posted February 16, 2024 Author Posted February 16, 2024 Yes, but also 2d is not starting @BIGNEWY (Yesterday everything was fine. No changes to drivers or other system changes. So i suspect something with data connection to Steam/ED.)

Quest link/ Quest 3 A temporary workaround is to disable PTC in the Oculus app and hope it downgrades the software back to v62. This is only temporary though as Meta is likely to push this out to all users in the next few weeks. They forced Steam to change their VR code so I expect that they expect all VR vendors to follow suit. This is likely something ED will need to address. Maksim Savelev Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Thank you. I really hope ED will address some attention to this. VR is the only way I can use DCS 1
Doc3908 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Same here. DCS quits on startup with the log file as described by the OP. Oculus/Meta Quest Pro headset. VERY frustrating!!
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 17, 2024 ED Team Posted February 17, 2024 Hi all the issue with PTC in the Oculus app is reported, but please note we have not changed anything, it is something oculus has done. Our team will investigate it. thanks 3 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Would you recommend deleting oculus app? Uncheck PTC in Occulus and it should let you downgrade to previous version of the Occulus software and everything should work fine again. EDIT: This advice is no longer relevant since Meta pushed V63 to their release version. Edited March 13, 2024 by rob10
