Wolf359
With regards to the new streamlined application, should I delete Open Beta, or simply rename the folder, or leave it? I know I'll get updates, but just to keep things clean on my system. sirrah
I wonder about this too. After updating, I still see references to OB (maybe it's only some folder and shortcut names, but I'm not sure). As a DCS "purist" (I don't use any mods for instance), would it be wise/better to do a complete reinstall? @BIGNEWY, can you advise us perhaps? 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
Lange_666
I deleted the dcs_variant.txt in de DCS.openbeta folder, then renamed the install folder to DCS World and de Saved Games folder to DCS. Works fine. 2 1 Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Hiob
8 minutes ago, Bucic said: What would be the downside of doing nothing? Nothing, you can name the folders whatever you like or leave them as they are. Makes no difference. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
