mytai01 Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Isn't there a map of the carrier deck to accurately place static objects where one wants them? It's totally a guessing game as far as I can see... fagulha Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 If you´re talking about carrier deck config: I use real life pics as a guide to mimic the carrier deck. We´ve got so much information available you just need to look around. I use docs and listen to podcasts which also help me understand the dynamic of the carrier deck of a supercarrier. About carrier ops: "The younger pilots are still quite capable of holding their heads forward against the forces. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.' mytai01 Posted March 3, 2024 Author Posted March 3, 2024 I'm not talking about what a real carrier deck looks like. I'm saying you can't see the carrier deck when placing static objects and therefore have no idea where the objects will appear until you go into the game and look...that seems wrong to me. I´m sorry, i thought you need help with deck config. As Raven stated, you can place them in ME (like the pic he posted) . I have no issues placing the units guiding by the lines on deck. And of course sometimes is trial/error if you´re like me and obsessed with perfection when placing the statics. I´m use F2 view to check the layout then i go back to Mission Editor to fine tune the statics position.
