fixed JTAC - No call possible since 2.9.4.53627 Hot fix?!?

Hi,

I was working on a mission with multiple target and JTAC appearing randomly, but it seems that I am unable to contact the JTAC since the 2.9.4.53627 Hot fix.

In the meantime, I start the mission from zero, but I am still not able to contact the JTAC! If I try the ATC, it works. I made a repair without success.

Anybody have the same problem or have an explanation ?

Mission and track in attached (Syria - F/A-18C - no mod).

EDIT 1 : I tried "Perform task" and "Start Enroute Task", but no change.

EDIT 2 : The UAV is still working as JTAC, but infantery or vehicles cannot be called.

Hi,

Find something that can be useful : If I use Playboy, the JTAC is not recognized. If I use Axeman, it works!

Can confirm JTAC is bugged. Yesterday he didn't respond until I found the target  myself, then he came up on the radio, saying "target destroyed, no further tasking available". I'll try to change the Callsign as pointed out by vctpil.

Use callsigns PINPOINT and above and it works.  Using callsigns FERRET and below and it's bugged.  ED is aware so hopefully they will fix it soon.

@BIGNEWY It would be great if ED could confirm this bug, since JTACs are used in many SP and MP missions. Should be easy to reproduce.

Hi....

I was trying to play one of the ED missions for the F-16 yesterday (Home on the range) and the in game JTAC would not work. I did some testing and found that the JTAC works with all JTAC callsigns down and including Pinpoint. After that........ Ferret to the bottom of the list does not work. Home on the range uses callsign Jaguar. I have played this in the past with callsign Jaguar and it has worked.

In the F10 menu it will say JTAC - (unit type) instead of JTAC - Callsign. If you try to check in with the ones that don't work, the pilot will not make the check-in transmission.

Find attached simple miz with callsign Ferret. If you change it to anything before that, it will work.
