Screenshot 2024-05-20 103349.pngI have MalwareBytes installed.

In the last week I've had a positive for malware on scripting.dll and a file in the Combined Arms add-on.

However, despite daily scans of every drive (including the one DCS is installed on) saying they're clear, I'm getting MalwareBytes Quarantining DCS files.

Anyone else?

many folks are seeing m2000 files being flagged. if you are comfortable with it, add exclusions for the folders in your AV program.

this is what do in defender

Some AV do not like the encryption being used in DCS and sometimes flag files. You should of course take security seriously and I would suggest submitting the files to your provider for analysis.

Please be aware some custom mods can create issues also.

We did not get the same warning during our own tests.

thank you

I have no mods or anything else installed (as I'm doing some work for helping on the M.E. forums), however do YOU use MalwareBytes or a different protection application?

personally use windows defender and dont have any issues.

MalwareBytes is known for creating problems with DCS

ESET Smart Security 8
Kaspersky Internet Security
BitDefender

Are others that also seem to have issues with DCS
