campaign update/overhaul?

Hi SorelRo,

do you have any plans to update/overhaul this campaign?

(this is the only story driven campaign for F-5 so far, would be great to see some refreshment for it)

Yes, i am working on it already. Unfortunately it's a bit of a moving target right now but I believe it is worth it. With the new F-4 as the AI supporting plane, with the asset pack being introduced, it turns out in a lot of work.

Quick update in this one. All the missions are redone. Right now I'm re-recording the voices, there will be over 4000 more lines added. Voices will go in the next few weeks and I'm hoping that it will be sent to ED in December. Sorry for the delay on this one. It turns out it will be a full rebuild, or quite close to it.

Holy mackerel, that's like building a new one from scratch! Impressive!

You gotta repaint the house every few years, change the appliances, and so on. Also, it made me realize that when this campaign was built the only trigger zones were the round ones.

Will the campaign be updated for F-5E remastered version?

Yeah, it will, timing is totally crap, as I have to go through another round of testing, and I will have to support it for 3 airplanes.  The F-5 FC, the old F5, and the new one.  Kinda reviewing my life choices at this point. But, it is what it is. This is a total surprise for me. 

By the way, I'm not going to charge extra for it.

oooh, 3 versions! Although it is just a change of aircraft type in ME and maybe weapon layout too, i think you don't have to retest for new f5 version, cause mainly it is just 3d model update. Anyway thank you for your work!

When I read the above, I tought to myself "have to support this kind of commitment", so as the sale just begun went to the store to purchase this Campaign right away … only to realize that I already owned it, probably I purchased it on an old Sale but never went to play it

 

… thanks a lot, I’m currently not flying the F-5 but as soon as your updated version is released I will return to the F-5 and get to fly this Campaign on the updated F-5

Just bought F-5E Remastered version, and it just replaced the old one, and all 3 campaigns for F-5E are working without modifications!
So it is a good news, @SorelRo you only have 2 versions to support instead of 3!

It works the way it is, there's no new functionality added as far as I know.
