Downloaded the VSN Mk6 v2.9.7.XA10 test version. I have used the 'F-15C' to fly the Hunter. Gear and flaps work, use "c" to fire guns. Mk6 instruments are not calibrated, use F15 HUD to see speed and altitude. More speed than using A10A FM. Can start in the air, can't land or spawn from runway, it explodes every time I touch the ground. LOL. Added ADEN Mk2 30mm cannons, can destroy anything with one burst. I have shot down Eurofighter, Mig15, Mig19, Mig29S, F86F, F-15C, and F-16C, all in Ace mode. The F-16C was toughest to shoot down. This is the "Spitfire" of jets.

Can someone fix the VSN Mk6 v2.9.7.XA10 test so I can take off and land? Been flying the VSN F100, at least I can take off and land. Added M_39 cannons. Thank you.

Unfortunately this link is dead, would it be posible to share a new link to this livery package for the Hunter Mk6 please ? Any liveries for the Hunter TMk68 would also be highly appreciated !

Hello everyone, a couple of days ago I installed the Hunter mod. It's a spectacular mod, but you can't take off or land, it always explodes upon contact with the ground when I fly the aircraft. AI flights are performed without problems.

I'm trying to start it in the cockpit while on the ground, and the plane "jumps" and then explodes. I've tested it in the South Atlantic scenario, and I don't know why this happens.

Any suggestions are appreciated

Hi,

it happens because on latest dcs the flamming cliffs Dll is not loaded by default. A workaround us to first start on an A-10A, like this:

 

setup a test mission with two clients: an A-10A (not the C model), and a Vsn Hunter mk6. Start the mission and enter first to the A-10A, then press esc and select change Slot, to enter the Hunter, it should now work.

Hi Rudel, just let you know they still work. Initially didn’t see the new liveries in the menu. However, classical issue of not selecting the correct country in the ME menu. All fine and would love to have more, but guess not an option for a legacy mod.

actually, the original liveries could be used with any country, but I edited the LUA of each livery so that they only show for the correct country, to avoid having long lists when selecting a livery. You can remove the "countries" line from each LUA if you want (or add "--" at the start of the line to change it into a comment.)  🙂

Thanks, but works for me. These are mk.6 (single seat). Do you have some more as well for the Tmk68 (dual seat)?

No, sorry, I only have the 8 standard liveries that came with the Mod.

Okay, no worries and many thanks for the professional support. Still hoping one day to get an official Hunter, Buccaneer, Jaguar, Sea Harrier, etc. module, as the former glorious UK aviation industry deserves not only a place in the history books, but also in DCS.

Hey! I just downloaded the mod and the aircraft keeps on exploding whenever it touches the ground, I have tried spawning in both the A-10A and F-15C and the problem still persisted... any kind soul willing to share the solution?

No solution but I mentioned it on their Discord. I think they have their work cut out just keeping all their mods up to date. I guess we have to be patient.
