reported Flickering and Partial GUI Menus

Just updated, seeing GUI Menu flickering and cant escape out of them, the text in the menu flickers often. I dont know how to explain it. I have to Task Manager out of DCS.

Yes same, although I only seem to get problems in MT, if I launch DCS ST menus are fine, can anyone else confirm this?  I need to do more testing in ST and see if I can recreate the same issue but at the moment MT is completely broken for me.

 

EDIT: No, ignore the above, just tried a few more missions in ST and getting the issue there too, missing menus, flickering, have to end task DCS. Is there any way to roll back an update to a previous version?

I am running at 4K in single player and when I enter the mission, it should let me select a slot.

Instead, there is a sub window at 1080p in the top left and full screen 3d running behind it.

No way to see any gui menus.

I have to use the task manager to kill dcs and try again.

 I changed the resolution to 1080p and checked the "full screen" option. Then I set the gui scaling to 1. Now everything looks normal.

I am going to experiment with the resolution/gui scaling/full screen option to see what triggers the problem.

I went back to 4K, no problem.

I went back to GUI scaling = 2, problem returns.

For me it was my GUI scale set at 1.25 when I changed it to 1.0 everything was fine it just a little harder for me to read comms menu so small in 4K

Flickering and partial menus in Instant Action / A-10C II / Free Flight / Caucasus following latest update. Using 3x 4k monitors. Continuing into flight aircraft immediately spins to left and requires usual trim inputs to stabilize. Task Manager required to leave game. 

 

Thanks to Papa1        GUI to scale 1 problem goes away. 

Pls disregard aircraft issue a glitch in my jstick set up ..... I lost the adjusted dead spot ........all now good landed safely.

Same issue, playing a user made campaign on PG with the F18. It appears to be a scaling thing. Oddly enough if I refresh reshade the menus are readable for a moment.

I haven't tested all the modules but for me it happens in the Tomcat on all the maps that have the update lighting system. It's ok on Caucasus and Persian Gulf maps. I'm using MT version of DCS.

UPDATE: It seems to be GUI scaling issue. I changed from 1.5 to 1.0 on a 4k screen running in 4k resolution and the problem disappeared.

Same as everyone else, experiencing flickering and partial GUI menu. Have to use task manager to close the game. Have not tested all possible combinations of maps, custom missions, and instant missions but it appears that if the Supercarrier module is in the mission this issue occurs. So far Instant missions and custom missions without the supercarrier do not cause this error. I bet this error has to do with the new airboss station. I have deactivated airboss in the mission editor but it has no effect.

Set your GUI scaling to 1X in the settings.  Apparently only an issue if you have the supercarrier in the mission.

The option is next to the option for GUI Scale.  4K here and switching from 1.25 GUI scale to 1.0 fixed the issue.  Was practicing carrier traps on the super carrier with the F14 when the issue occurred after the most recent update.  I assumed it was present in any mode and did not confirm in anything but the Carrier Quals instant missions in Marianas and Persian Gulf

Maybe I misunderstood Rob. I have GUI set to 1, and text font size, (right above the GUI setting), set to 1.5.
