reported Switching to aft gunner and back works with 1/6 keys but not HOTAS keybind

In controller options, if I go to any occupy seat, it freezes there.  In gunner occupy seat 1-6 does nothing.  Tried repair, then reinstall, no help.

I entered the copilot's seat in multicrew MP yesterday and from there I could switch to all other unoccupied seats without issues.

Can you explain exactly what and how you're trying to do this?

If you are in single player, are you pressing the numeric keys 1 - 6? When you say you get a freeze, does DCS stop working or you just can't move the camera?

Want to bump this topic. I’m experiencing same. With any gunner or loadmaster positions if I press the binding 4,5 or 6 on keyboard I cannot move from that view again. Eg Pressing 1 will not return to pilot view.  Pressing the same key again also does nothing. Have to restart a mission when this happens.

please include a dcs log so we can look for clues. 

Run a slow repair of DCS and remove all unofficial mods if any, go to saved games dcs folder and delete metashader2 and fxo folders. 

restart dcs and test, let us know if it helps

I had the same issue. A workaround is to press ESC go to controls and than back into the game. Afterwards you can switch the seats. Until know I wasn't able to reproduce it. It's to spurious.

If you use a HOTAS keybind to switch between positions, it seems you'll get stuck in the rear gunner position.  

For example:

• Start in pilot position 
• Hit Key '6' 
• You are in rear gunner
• Hit Key '1' 
• Back in pilot position

Now bind the same commands to two non-keyboard buttons (i.e. HOTAS hat)

• Start in pilot position
• Hit the new bind for position 6
• You are in rear gunner
• Hit the new bind for position 1
• You are still stuck in gunner
• Hit key '1'
• Back in pilot position

This is only the case for the rear gunner position (ie repeat with side gunner and its fine).  Attached a track but dont know how much use it will be : first i cycle with keys, then attempt to use HOTAS.    I'm able to cycle between all positions on HOTAS in the Huey.

Took a while to get back.. track files attached.  I tried with HOTAS binds and keybinds - same result.  I ran a slow repair and deleted the metashader2 and fxo folders beforehand.
