can not reproduce Can't get ILS to work in F16.

I set up Bodø tacan 45. 

I set up ILS 110.30

And direction 72°. I get the little steering cue and things seem to go OK. Until suddenly the little round ball I'm following gets locked and get an X over it. And the tacan distance starts to increase. I fly and usually hit the water a mile or so from the landing strip and usually to the side.

There are some infos missing.

Is RWY07 even the active one?

Can you get ILS to work on other maps?

Did you put the EHSI into NAV PLS? Are you following the flight director?

Do you have a track?

Bodo ILS is offset and acts a bit funny compared to ILS on other airbases. I'd troubleshoot on a normal airbase/map first.

I planned on doing that but apparently Kandahar doesn't have ILS.

Does the ILS work right on Banak?

I tried it with Batumi and it works just fine.

So again, give us more infos if you still have issues.

I've watched several videos and I follow them. 

When they press in the ILS frequency they get command steering right away, I only get it some times.

Then suddenly the command steering circle just disappear. On top of that I don't get ATC while flying on line, only in singleplayer.

is there any WIND ? We talke about that yesterday in our squad..i setup a bad weather flight with small amount of wind..ILS did not work.....if wind is greter than 7 ...it works...is there anything connected to WIND if we want to use ILS ?!

Yes, ATC changes runway depending on wind, and in DCS only the ILS for the active runway is turned on.

ATC in multiplayer is bugged.

Also any chance you can send a replay from Caucasus? I don't have Kola so I cannot help you with the track you've sent.

Double check the HSI between your legs, check it is in the correct mode. Also ILS audio rotary, if it's turned all the way to the left it will turn ILS off, that catches some people out.

Not sure why you hit the water or why the tacan does not work. Workes for me. But regarding landing to the side: double check the magnetic heading of the runway in f10 map. The ILS chart says 72° but the magnetic heading for runway 07 is 78° in my missions. Putting 72° will have the ILS command steering cue guiding me to the civilian terminals...
