However, the DCS.exe starts and stops without reaching the splash screen or login. draconus Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 I don't think GPU is the problem as it doesn't even get to checking it yet. Normally authentication comes next, then sounds and module files are loaded. I'd try with Windows 10/11 as it's required/recommended system for DCS. I am making use of Parsec, that seems to be the only one that makes use of the NVIDIA A10 GPU and correct monitor. This solved the same issue with all the other games. I cannot use remote desktop connection since it defaults to the Microsoft Remote Display Adapter which does not work. 1. I log on using TightVNC 2. Any ideas please let me know so that I can try again.Try to copy the setting folder from another computer, and disable the launcher? DCS won't play along with certain GPUs. It will some any potential problem of DCS trying to use cores not really available since it's a VM with no all core assignment. Windows Server 2022 1. TightVNC 2. Parsec 3. e2Soft virtual audio driver 4. Zero Tier so that peer-to-peer network works (for Parsec) 5. Nvidia Grid Drivers The only difference thus far was that I could not seem to install the Nvidia A10 drivers on the prior VM, but on this VM the Tesla T4 drivers are running fine. That other games run fine is completely irrelevant. These VMs must be configured explicitly to allow UDP, TCP ports to be opened.
