Annapolis81 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Unable to use the command "autostart" with the F/A-18C after the latest upgrade for DCS Stable. After about two minutes, "autostart" stops with the following message displayed "Right engine parameters failure". It occurs consistently with all DCS missions-- including mine. Any ideas? Thanks. Hammer1-1 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 every auto start Ive ever done had to have some sort of assistance to get the engines turned on, and in the hornet its one of the easiest things to do. Battery on, APU on, left engine crank, left engine to idle @ 29%, right engine crank, right engine to idle @ 29%. The battery is the only thing not located on the left panel, so everything is relatively easy to see. You can do this while the auto start is doing its thing. 1 Intel 13900k @ 5.8ghz | 64gb GSkill Trident Z | MSI z790 Meg ACE | Zotac RTX4090 | Asus 1000w psu | Slaw RX Viper 2 pedals | VPForce Rhino/VKB MCE Ultimate + STECS Mk2 MAX / Virpil MongoosT50+ MongoosT50CM | Virpil TCS+/ AH64D grip/custom AH64D TEDAC | Samsung Odyssey G9 + Odyssey Ark | Next Level Racing Flight Seat Pro | WinWing F-18 MIPS | No more VR for this pilot. Razor18 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Isn't the right engine the first to crank in the Hornet? 3

glen.a.williamson Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 I sometimes used to get that same message if I accidently didn't have both throttles set to zero input position, all the way off, before I initiated the Autostart sequence. You may want to check out your throttle position. Hope this helps. 1
