  2. Thanks for posting about this .... I was not aware of this feature ... but, we have both found it now !
  3. I think no one replied earlier because we did not have a clue as to what was causing your rather unique problem ... thanks for letting us know how you finally managed to fix this ... sorry it took so much effort to resolve.
  4. I really loved "I Love This Job". It has a number of quite diverse civillian missions ... and I found each one of them to be very challenging to play and very well done ... very enjoyable.
  5. I have realy enjoyed watching you missions ... very entertaining to watch, and, I think I learned a lot in the process. Thanks
  6. I found this tutorial very helpful... and very well done. I really have improved my hovering ability quite a bit by practicing using the idea of the V-shaped cluster of cones.
  7. I have been away from the Harrier for the past few months, primarily playing with the Apache. Today I decided to once again get back into the Harrier ... and this is exactly what I needed as a quick updated refresher. Thank You colo !
  8. Welcome to the Forum ... happy flying !
  9. It might help to know: When you are travelling, what do you plan to use for your throttle and stick/collective controllers ? What modules do you plan to fly ?
  10. Perhaps this is what you are looking for ....
  11. Perhaps you might want to consider joining a Squadron, ... or creating one of your own with some of your friends. You also may want to checkout the DCS folks on Discord ... that is kind of a social network, with lots of very friendly, helpful people.
  12. Perhaps .... DCS Update Witching Utility by Bailey (DCS v2.7.7.15038) (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  13. I found the above video to be very informative ... you might too.
  14. Are you perhaps running any kind of antivirus software which might be interfering with the DCS installation?
  15. Yes, I agree this should have been corrected by now ... as it seems an easy fix. In fact, one can easily fix this issue themselves. You simply need to open each of these missions using the Mission Editor, and then simply save them again, I believe you will find they then work. The Training Missions can be found on your computer at ?\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\AH-64D\Missions\Training. That is the "fix" I used. Good luck with it. You should also know that there is a problem with the Laser Hellfire Training mission .... do a quick search for "Training" in this forum, and you will find the problem, and the easy solution.
  16. Apparently there may have been a problem with the last DCS update, apparently the first three AH-64D Training Missions were affected ... see below...

  18. Hi Spotterfc, I'm glad this seems to not have been a problem with your set-up. I can only imagine how distraught you must have been ... and, it is really, really unfortunate (not to mention ironic) when your evening wind down after work turns out to wind you up instead !! I'm sorry this happened to you ... but ... very glad you got it readily resolved. Hope you havve a great evening, too.
  19. There perhaps may not be anything with the last Oculus Quest update or your system. Apparently there may have been a problem with the last DCS update, apparently the first three AH-64D Training Missions were affected ... see below...
  20. Thanks for your quick reply. This is what prompted me to ask .... I can locate the cows with the MGRS coordinates, and I can use ADF to locate the cow at the 761.000 AM frequency, but I can not figure out how to locate any of the cows with associated FM frequencies. Does anyone have any ideas as to how this is meant to be done ?
  21. Is it possible to follow and locate the source of an FM signal ( for example 31.0 FM) using the ADF system in the Apache? And, if so, could you tell me how to do so ... what steps are involved ?
