Persian Gulf Map Expansion or Completed?

I searched through the PG Map forum and threads and everything seems to be very old and outdated.  With the size of every map in DCS seeming to be larger and more fleshed out, is there any chance or thought completing the empty space on the PG map?  There is a lot of empty areas where current villages and towns are to include Kuwait.  The coast up in the Northwest of the Map could provide some unique Gulf War scenarios but nothing is there.  Same with a multitude of other areas.  Just looking for some confirmation the map is still considered complete or if there might be some room for further improvements.  Much appreciated!  I love this map and would love to use the entirety of it.

Hi Devil 505, 

Persian Gulf is feature complete, there are no plans currently to add more areas, (we do of course tweak and address any bugs that are found).

There’s a floating Runway line at Queshm that’s been there for quite some time that indicates otherwise.

Everything becomes clear when you know that the map was called Strait of Hormuz before release. We might have better luck with Iraq map for mentioned areas and GW operations.

All solid points and much appreciated.  Being an owner of the map since day one off the shelf, I totally forgot the OG title was "The Strait of Hormuz".  Also, right after posting this, I saw what the plans were for the Iraq map on the first page of the roadmap forum for 2024 and beyond.  If my instincts serve me correctly, it appears we will be getting part of the Persian Gulf in the Iraq map.  Hopefully to include Kuwait and part of the Gulf to place our carriers.  Appreciate the feedback gents.  Consider this topic shut down for me.

Coming up with the idea of porting everything from the Iraq South map from Basrah down to Doha over into the Persian Gulf map seems like common sense.
Why would ED disregard this opportunity?

hi ED team, im new to DCS World. I'm getting deep info about all the maps. I'm going to buy Iraq and Afghanistan. My question is: will Persian Gulf Map like Sinai Map and South Atlantic Map be updated in the near future to meet the same quality and stardard of the first 2 released in 2024? thx

Hi, we do like to revist older projects when time and resources allow but I have no news about Persian Gulf at the moment.
