Dragon1-1 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Good video. I wonder if you picked up on the irony of talking about simulating "mature, adult professionals", in light of the early part, when you mentioned that early debriefs would often degenerate into "No, I shot you down" back and forth. DCS community and actual fighter pilots who get to handle million dollar fighting machines have more in common that one would hope... 4
tusler Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I suck at all the stuff he mentioned but I'll get the campaign cause it sound like a lot of fun in the F4. 3 Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:! PC=Win 10 HP 64 bit, Gigabyte Z390, Intel I5-9600k, 32 gig ram, Nvidia 2060 Super 8gig video. TM HOTAS WARTHOG with Saitek Pedals
Hiob Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I will probably get the campaign and then never accomplish even the first mission. Wouldn't be the first..... Let's say my ambition outweighs my talent...... (and time) ...but either way - mad respect for Reflected and what he accomplishes in DCS. 4 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
LuseKofte Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Well this means I need to learn the Phantom and later go through the frustration about what I thought I was proficient at, I was not. 2

Practice makes perfect. That is what professionalism is about: practice. That's why I love Reflected's work; it humbles me, teaches me, and makes me keep working until I can do it right consistently. We are trying to simulate what is a truly hard profession. It's SUPPOSED to be hard, and that's what makes it rewarding. If it was easy, anybody could do it... This will be a day one purchase for me. Hard, realistic procedures in my all-time favorite plane. What's not to love? 3

What's not to love? “(and time)” was the keyword…. Usually Professionals don’t have a second side (main) profession. But I wasn’t criticising in the slightest. Quite the opposite. I admire Reflected and will keep buying his stuff (even though I haven’t finished any). But I will probably need to retire before I actually accomplish any campaign. 3 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

Which will automatically reset to 1x as soon as something happens, so you won't miss anything important. 3 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

Especially in steampunky aircraft like the Phantom. Not so much about the length of individual missons. But I feel I’m distracting from the actual topic. So enough of my personal shortcomings! Bottomline: The amount and quality of stuff you put into your campaigns is just awesome! 4 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
