I might add to this that this new feature is very sought after, but there are some very crucial issues with this first release.

Apart from the issue above, I also noticed that the missiles you configured aren't spread out in the tubes, they can get in the same tubes. The hatches also doesn't open at the correct tubes a lot of the times. 

While you're at it, I'd also like to suggest making some sort of parameter for quad loading of missiles, so that there can be four missiles in one tube, while still having the slider working. 👍🏻

That would be nice, but unless there's plans to give the Arleigh Burke RIM-162D ESSM Block 1 (which, they should be - the liveries they have depict ships that are definitely new enough to receive it) the single missile per cell is accurate.

Well, that's my point exactly. While they're implementing this new loadout feature, why not think ahead.

Still an issue as of DCS 2.9.13.6818.

This feature was mentioned in the newsletter following the patch that introduced this feature, but it has never worked.

In the track below, I've removed all weapons from the Arleigh Burke's VLS, yet it still performs the land strike with RGM-109C and intercepts inbound AS-20s with RIM-156A.
