Flight simmer for 25 years, real pilot for 15 years, bush flying, and warbird formation, aerobatics and dogfight simulations.

I fly in VR, Varjo Aero, and a 4090, have MFG pedals, and many controllers, a few months ago got the VP Force Rhino,  It has an extension and a Virpil Mongoose grip, I only fly the warbirds in DCS, in short its fantastic, it is very immersive, you need to use it with Telem software which has the effects , and you can fine tune them to your liking.

Did you guys know that many times dogfights are flown at the edge of the accelerated stall? Rhino has this effect, pull high Gs, stick gets stiffer, fire guns, you get the effects, you get hit  also get the effects, gear , flaps, engine rumble everything is there, DCS warbirds deserve FFB, they become even more realistic and immersive, highly recommended.

Warning, a FFB stick wont let you fly pulling crazy unrealistic stunts , like we see all the time in DCS MP where the virtual pilot can take a lot of positive and Neg one after the other, FFB will make you fly realistically.

Here are a link for the Rhino, a video of my real flying , Telem, and my setup.

Now you need to upgrade your Crosswinds to FFB with the Rhino mod as well! 😊

@motoadve you seem to posting different Telem screenshots over different forums.  Have you images of your full settings (including the base VP configuator settings). Would be a useful reference of what feels real, given your RL experience.

Cheers

Lift AV-1 helmet , love it, very light and comfortable, makes you forget you are wearing it.

@motoadve how are you liking the Lift AV-1 helmet? I thought they were pretty neat compared to other civilian warbird helmets.

In the other forum you mentioned overheating issues (with resulting auto- FFB reduction) during prolonged dogfights. It would be fair to mention them here as well, especially when you use extension (what length is it by the way?)

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Yes , I forgot to mention this, 10cm extension, the only planes where  FFB reduction happens are the FW190A8 and the 190D9, all the other warbirds are fine. With the latest Telem and G forces (New) works much better though.

nullWith regards of Telem, I have the settings different for each plane, also IL2 different than DCS

Some settings are common to all my planes.

Honestly I am very tempted to do it

You should. It‘s easy and a perfect complement to the Rhino stick. (A considerable investment still, can’t argue around this)

Yes. Walmis sells the motors and logic board that work with the Rhino software as Kits (VPforce.eu) and there are DIY projects for all kinds of devices based in them. I made a mounting solution for the Crosswinds.

@kaltokri is selling Kits based on my design, but you can also go to the project page in the VP discord and find the files and instructions for 3D printing and building it on your own.
