Please excuse me again for my rant. I was homing in on that one argument of yours which you made in all innocence. About 15 to get in per person, and then you add the popcorn and a drink … two people will be 50-ish yes. But having visited Germany I also felt things were generally not as inflated as they are with us. 1
MarkP Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Hello, wanted to tell my story as well. I got it on release day, thinking i would not love it (i have nearly every module in DCS just to try it out so to say). But i was blown away by it. The Modul has so many cool little features, no other moule has like perma-bend wings, interfering radar channels Radar Scintillation, moving pilot body in VR (althoug that was added on some ED models as well) and so on and i loved that. Also its so easy to work with the TGP. In F16 i am always fighting the TGP, its not doing what i want it to do. Might be Piloterror for sure but still i constantly got hickups with it. In the 15e it just works. Also BVR its great. You can fly so high on full A/B all the time and toss a 120c in space nearly. I got a kill against a AI F16 from 55nm out So then the the disput happened and i refunded it but now after like a year or something i found myself kinda missing it. It was (and is) the most enjoyable plane in my whole collection. And last month i decided to buy it again. I dont regret it at all because i had the most fun in it out of all Modules. I hope that the dispute can be solved in a good way but yeah. Just wanna tell my my 2 cents 6 Main-Module: F-16C, AH-64D Maps: Syria, Persian Gulf, South Atlantic, Caucasus, 1944 Normandy, NTTR Hardware: VKB Gunfighter mk.2 Pro, WinWing Orion F16, VKB T-Rudder, HP Reverb G2 PC Specs: Intel 13900K, ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-E, 64GB DDR5-5800 RAM, GeForce RTX 4090, Win 11x64

I own all 3. 16s and 18s don't make the 15E superfluous. Neither 16s to 18s and vice versa. Reading the list of advantages as the larger payload, fuel, A2G radar, etc... that you wrote, one by one as individual advantages is one thing. The actual practical effect is all those things together. The 15E is a BEAST without comparison to the 16 and 18 with its capability of time on station and payload combined with its avionics. You're basically inside a medium bomber without having to think about fuel for quite a while with also being a self escort platform with those huge engines and Aim-120s. F-16s doesn't have the legs to do that with such heavy payloads, and the 18s doesn't have the ordinance capability for the amount of different tasks in one go the 15E takes. So, the question of: On 1/25/2025 at 4:59 AM, Sunbather said: Did I forget something? I'd say it is combining the advantages in one instead of knowing the advantages separately. In practice they stack impressively. I love what this plane can do. On 1/25/2025 at 4:59 AM, Sunbather said: Yes, the F-15E excels in strike missions which are among my favourite missions by the way. But the Viper and the Hornet can do the same, right? With a full load of CBU-97s, you can basically delete anything remotely hot in a town size radius like if a platoon of explosive Predator Paratroopers dropped from a plane above. "But F-16s also have the 97s" Not in this payload size. The thing is wild, man. Although I prefer LGBs and some Jdams. 7

Jorl Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Absolutely in love with the Mudhen....no other bird get that feel from me... powerful, majesty, capable.... imperial in a word. my favorite. Tenkom Posted April 1 Posted April 1 What I like about the mudhen is that it can carry stupid payloads without turning into a short range slug. For example it can carry 9x JDAMS. That's only one more than the hornet. But it can do that while carrying plenty of fuel, 4 amraams and still go supersonic. The hornet with 8x JDAMS can only carry 2 120s or 1 120 and a fuel tank and it is NOT going supersonic or very far carrying that. 4
Robi Hobby Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I can only say one thing: Jane's F-15. I'm over 55 now and don't have time to think about whether or not to buy it. I want to buy all the Modules I like. A Tank of Gas in Germany costs more than any DCS module. And I don't even own a car. 7
Darth Holliday Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Can you buy this module direct from Raz for use on DCS...?? (asking for a friend)
Tom Kazansky Posted May 8 Posted May 8 29 minutes ago, Darth Holliday said: Can you buy this module direct from Raz for use on DCS...?? (asking for a friend) There aren't DCS modules in the Razbam store. Only manuals for the modules are available for download.

fredm2002 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I hope that we don't lose the F-15E, but I will pull my P-III out of retirement and go back to Jane's F-15E. It was fun in the late 90s, and break out my force feedback joystick, and enjoy the old days again. IMHO. 2 Intel i7-12700K, 128 GB RAM, 3080 TI, 26 TB of Storage
