fox_111 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 How many Ka-50 Black Shark flight hours have you accumulated since you got the game? I'm at 132h of flight. I got several medals and got promoted to Lt. Colonel. How about you? :joystick:

fox_111 Posted July 6, 2009 Author Posted July 6, 2009 hum... I did a lot of testing and foolish manuvering in impossible to survive test missions... so 300 ish deaths is not representative. Actual number I don't know. All I know is, I try to keep my landing number ABOVE my crashing number. Wich I curently maintain well above!
Kwill Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 about 60 hours so far I need about 60 more before I can say I feel comfortable flying the thing lol
Inrptrn Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 15 hours. Half of it going over the start up process, 25% of it fighting the weapons system, 25% learning to hover, and just about none of it actually flying :)
L4key Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 25 hours. Competent, but not spectacular. Like someone before said, double it and I'll be a lot better. Best bits: completing a circuit and gently landing but the best was my first live mission not getting shot down and nailing everything. Took about three goes though, not sure that happens in real life... Just starting campaigns now
Speedbrake Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 48.5 hours 3.1 hours night 134 landings 3 medals Captain rank
LKNANML Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Unfortunately this is my 2nd pilot as my first was listed as US so all the ground kills I got, u guessed it showed as FF kills.. Nice touch ED! Ya got us yanks on that one.....LOL I run without labels so the 2 FF kills are big time opps..
Bulletstop Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I have about 50 hours and yup under 2 pilots as my first was us,lol. Anyways still jump in and fly simple mission to keep certified, lol. Bullet I7 4790K running at 4390 with a gigabyte board with 16 gigs of ram with an Asus gtx 660-ti and 2 tb of hard drive space on 2 wd hard drives. A X-65F Hotas with trackir4 and pro combat peddles. A kick butt home built machine unfortunately running a windows 7 OS.
th3flyboy Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 IDK because I've reinstalled multiple times and I run on both a desktop and a lappy, so it's kind of hard to keep up with current numbers with splitting between the two areas. Current Sims: DCS Black Shark, Falcon 4.0, X-Plane 9, Steel Beasts Pro PE, IL-2 1946, ArmA 2, FSX, Rise of Flight, EECH, Harpoon 3 ANW, CSP
bumfire Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Too many, I cant quite put a figure on it as I have had to reinstall the game a couple of times thus destroying the number of hours that is in my pilot log but saying that I would guesstimate at between 60-100 hours or maybe even more since 2 days after the game was released, I usually fly anywhere between 1-3 hours daily without fail.

Deigs Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I have only ever played online. I have about 30 hrs, but want to double that over the next few days and get a bit deeper into the sim. I'm liking it a lot so far. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 161 Squadron Australia's DCS Community
