Maduce Posted March 19 Posted March 19 With the upcoming DCS Cold War map we really need to add a few cold war AI aircraft. C-5 Galaxy C-141 Starlifter Just a couple that I can think of, I am sure there are many more. 7

Biggus Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Earlier Fishbeds and Floggers, more Fitters, some Flagons and Fiddlers, some Badgers and a Blinder or two would be great additions. Some support assets would be nice too. A-3s in tanker and jammer variants, some EC-121s and Grumman's Tracer and Tracker would be lovely. And in between adding aircraft, it'd be nice to see an SA-7 and a Redeye too. 4

sirrah Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) Additionally: Handley Page Victor VC-10 P3 Orion and plenty more.. And, cold war scenario's call for the U-2 and SR-72.. With Ugra's cold war Fulda Gap map coming, we additionally should have some current DCS AI assets upgraded (downgraded). E.g.; Equip the current KC-135 model with the older Pratt & Whitney TF33-PW-102 type engines. Oh and ED, we are (or at least I am ) not asking for study level AI 3D models with exactly the same rivet count as the real thing, that will take a decade to develop. The new B-52, B-1B and S-3B models and textures are beautiful, but current refurbishing pace doesn't seem realistic. Personally I'd perfectly well except a little less detail on AI assets if that means I can use them in my missions within my lifetime . upyr1 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 My list based on how I divide the cold war and the era I associate aircraft with Early Korean war / Stalinist era (1945-1953) Anything my preference for the Red for would be for aircraft and other assets with service lives that overlap with the I-16 and MiG-15 first Blue for A-26 is needed, since we have the WWII asset packs anything in the way of early jets Eisenhower / pre-vietnam era (1953 - 1963) Anything the F-84f and B-47 are my main must haves for the USAF, Hunter Hawker, is the must have for the UK Mystre is the must have for France IL-28 is the must have for the Redfor Vietnam Era (1964 - 1975) USAF B-52D, B-66, F-105, EC-121, KC-135, AC-47, B-57, F-111 USN A-3, A-5 British V bombers, Canberra (I know already listed) , bucaneer, France - anything Red For- anything 1 1
