on the second semester of last year I only purchased two items: FC 2024 and the F-5 remastered, just because its pricing wouldn't last, but it was just a fifth of what I usually spend, and so far this year I've only refunded the F-15E and used those funds to purchase the Germany map, for a total balance of US$ 0 this year so far.

 

The Mig-29 was tempting, but having its shapes and textures encrypted made it a no-go for me, its a sad situation for me as DCS used to be my main hobby.

Could it be that someone stole the ED 3D model and that's why they put encryption in place?

Perhaps, but instead of ED just suing the thief if/when such a steal happens, they prefer to reduce or eliminate the customization capabilities of their product .. not good, instead I will simply use my wallet to vote on this choice that ED has taken.

But we aren’t locked out. You just don’t like the changes in their product. And there’s nothing wrong with feeling like that, but it’s not like they don’t have reasons.

More updates are coming they just did not make it into this last patch. 

There is no point adding work that is not ready for the public builds yet or need more testing. 

 

This thread was about updates to the CH-47 with added features and not fixes to existing features which we do also appreciate id like to add, but it clearly shows from the time line that nothing was added to the CH-47 between January 2025 and May 2025 and then we only got 2x new skins, that is a rather large period of time for a any EA module and one that really pulls my support from other ED EA modules, as I have stated before I have support ED EA right from the start and last year got the following ED items, Chinook, Afghanistan, Iraq, because of these last 3 modules with delays, lack of updates, the passion is still there but my support has dwindled somewhat, which I think is a shame and something ED should take seriously because its not just me.

The title of the thread is when will it be updated, and updates have happened. 

I know its taking some time to get feature updates out, early access can take some time and it does not suit everyone, development times can be longer than expected for various reasons.

The updates are coming and as soon as the team are ready to share them with you all they will.
