Aerges Mirage III?

Where did you get 'Razbam has dissolved' from? They are currently involved in an acrimonious dispute with ED, leading to their modules being withdrawn from sale, but as far as I'm aware, they are still in business.

Sorry for my bad english - I mean "removed from DCS" (the programmers have stated publicly they will never work on DCS again...)

Which may well be a negotiating tactic. Or an attempt at one. As of now, I've seen no official statement that negotiations between ED and Razbam have stopped. Which may actually be relevant to your original question, since I suspect that other developers are unlikely to want to start work on anything that might directly compete with Razbam modules until the situation is resolved. And come to that, ED probably wouldn't be keen either, while they say they are still seeking a settlement.

A Mirage III would be nice, but now probably isn't the best time to ask for it.

You have more faith than I do! Your point is well made, and stands. Thank you. It is too early to tell. All the best,

what are the chances of an Aerges Mirage III after the F-104?

They are probably working full time on the F-1M, and after that the F-104 will be their focus as its sale potential should be great as I understand that the CW Germany map has sold very well and the 104 would be a natural on that map.

So, a Mirage 3 would be quite far away … even if I would like to have one to fly on the Falklands and Sinai maps.

Personally, I would look to other developers for modules regardless of how the dispute is resolved. As far as module development goes there's been no official claim in a license from ED for the Mirage III, so any developer that can prove to ED that they have the necessary documentation and capability to develop it should be given the opportunity to develop it. I'm unlikely to purchase another Razbam modules in the future. I feel many in the DCS community would prefer new developers with less tainted reputations and baggage to be given opportunities to develop what ever aircraft they have access to regardless of any dev team waving around unfinished 3-d models.

Personally I would love to see the Mirage III C, D, and E variants.

Two former Spanish pilots talk about the Mirage III and Mirage F1 fighters

Ditto! The Mirage III is probably my second highest wish for a module after the F-8 Crusader. Alas, I doubt we'll see either one anytime soon. :furious:

Mirage III is interesting, but I'd rather have a Super Etendard. Spain didn't fly those, but they've had a very long combat history, and would be notable as non-US carrier aircraft.
