YoYo Posted Sunday at 05:48 PM Posted Sunday at 05:48 PM This topic is discussed in many threads, but it's hard to say whether it has been noticed properly. Currently, from 2-3 patches, the situation related to closing DCS does not look too good. After clicking "Quit to desktop", it takes quite a long time, sometimes even over a minute or more. It has never been like this, and the exit was immediate. Interestingly, my friend has the same problem. Sometimes I just force minimize DCS and start doing other things, and DCS is still grinding away in the background. For me too, but it can be a bit annoying. I fly in VR and I don't really want to turn off the headset when DCS is still on the screen. I can live with it as well, but I think it's worth solving it along with the problem with loading missions. I think these things are related. 1 Webmaster of http://www.yoyosims.pl Win 10 64, i9-13900 KF, RTX 5090 32Gb OC, RAM 64Gb Corsair Vengeance LED OC@3600MHz,, 3xSSD+3xSSD M.2 NVMe, Predator XB271HU res.2560x1440 27'' G-sync, Sound Blaster Z + 5.1, TiR5, [MSFS, P3Dv5, DCS, RoF, Condor2, IL-2 CoD/BoX] VR fly only: Meta Quest Pro

HC_Official Posted Monday at 08:49 PM Posted Monday at 08:49 PM (edited) it has been like this since last few patches null I just ALT + TAB and then kill it in task manager .......... which makes it exit instantly ............. instead of the minute or so of it fumbling about before exiting Edited Monday at 09:01 PM by HC_Official 1 No more pre-orders Click here for tutorials for using Virpil Hardware and Software Click here for Virpil Flight equipment dimensions and pictures. .
EricJ Posted Monday at 08:52 PM Posted Monday at 08:52 PM I have the same issue, but I'm also not in a pure rush so I just wait it out, but good to know it's not just me. MickyG Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I solved this issue on my side. problem started after flashing my motherboard bios to the latest version. (I remembered everything worked fine the day before) after flashing it back to the previous version everything went back to normal. no more long closing times for DCS and microstutter disappeared.
