SignorMagnifico Posted May 30 Posted May 30 In the current DCS version 2.9.16.10523 I noticed that I'm able to dive the Sabre at full throttle from 30,000ft, exceeding Mach 1.1, and I can recover from the dive without the use of air brakes. I haven't flown the Sabre in a while, but I recall that normally during steep dives, I had to deploy the airbrakes to ensure I could pull out of the dive. Additionally, there seems to be weird vibrations going on at the wing tips once it exceeds Mach 1.0. Track file attached. SignorMagnifico Posted June 16 Author Posted June 16 I guess this is correct as is? No control loss seems to be happening during high speed dives. 2 Corsair 750D, i7-14700K, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro for Xbox Multi-System Gaming Headset - Premium Hi-Fi Drivers - Hi-Res Audio - 360° Spatial - GameDAC Gen 2 - Stealth Retractable Mic, EVGA Supernova 1000 T2, 80+ Titanium 1000W PSU, ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero (WiFi 7) LGA 1700, EVGA CLC 360mm All-in-one RGB LED CPU Liquid Cooler, G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series DDR5 6400MHz, MSI GeForce RTX™ 5080 16G INSPIRE 3X OC G5080-16I3C, SK hynix Gold P31 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD l Up to 3500MB/S, Samsung 850EVO 1TB, Western Digital 4TB WD Black Performance Internal Hard Drive HDD - 7200 RPM, WD4005FZBX, Acer Predator XB271HU WQHD IPS Monitor, Logitech G510S Logitech G502 X Wired Gaming Mouse, HOTAS Warthog, Thrustmaster TFRP Pedal,s Track IR 5, Windows 11 Professional https://www.youtube.com/c/iflyflightsims

ED Team NineLine Posted July 10 ED Team Posted July 10 Hey, I have asked the team about this, but I also tried myself, and I do get the expected low responsivness of the ailerons with the uncommanded roll, but I am able to pull out ok, but I do not recall this being an issue perviously either, so right now I am seeing the problems excpected with flight controls. I will see if the team comes back with anything on this. 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
Dragon1-1 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Should there even be a loss of control? The F-86F has an all flying tail, which means the elevator should remain effective at supersonic speeds. Just how effective is another matter (and there's also a matter of the maximum G load), but it shouldn't lock up like a conventional tail. 1

I don't think so, I think it's ok as is right now, but it's been a minute since I messed much with the Sabre so I have asked for confirmation with the team. 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
