T-2 Buckeye, T-38 Talon and Su25-UTG

We need cold war trainers, particularly the T-2 and T-38.

The Su25-UTG would be a great addition to REDFOR. It was produced in small numbers. But it would provide for a REDFOR all-weather strike / carrier training capability.

Who do you mean by "we"? 🤔

Just in case you had the illusion to speak on behalf of the entire community: I certainly do not "need" any trainer module in DCS.

I don’t think UTG supported any armament

Remember the C-101EB (1980), L-39ZA/ZO (1976/1978), MB-339A (1979) has cold war trainers and L-39 was the main Red (Warsaw pact) trainer on the Cold War. About a T-2 (UsNavy) (1958) and T-38 (USAF) (1961) missing only about as USA trainers.

For Work/Gaming: 28" Philips 246E Monitor - Ryzen 7 1800X - 32 GB DDR4 - nVidia RTX1080 - SSD 860 EVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 2 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Warthog / TPR / MDF

Some of us come from real world aviation. We love to fly. Period. It's not about a game.

Maybe you should read the rules for this section before posting.

You are absolutely correct Dragon. I just want a T-2 for historical and sentimental reasons. As for the Su25, maybe ED can find the means to do a full fidelity module one day before I am too old to fly it.

I don't actually know. It would just be cool to have a naval Su25.  Maybe one day.

Well it only had fuel tanks because it was used in initial carrier trials. They don't usually put weapons on for that. That comes later.

🤔

In your OP you said "we need cold war trainers"

I responded that perhaps you meant to say that "you" wish for additional trainers.

I (and many community members with me) don't need any more cold war trainers in DCS and rather see the effort spend elsewhere.

No forum rules broken as far as I can tell.

Good luck with your wish mate 👍
