The navigation instruments go crazy and eventually (CTD)

Above a certain altitude (20,000 feet or more) the navigation instruments start to go crazy and eventually DCS crash to desktop.

Map: Syria, you don't need to make a cold start to reproduce it, just spawn at 20.000ft + and enjoy.

I'm seeing the same thing with the F1-EE in Syria. It starts at 26000ft and continues to above 31000ft (I didn't cheak any further). All instruments displaying heading (HUD, magnetic compass, spherical indicator and navigation indicator) jump between the actual heading and 0°/North. After cruising on autopilot (alt hold) at 28000ft for a while, DCS crashes.

The mission file and dxdiag.txt/dcs.log (redacted to remove PII) are attached.

Same here, also the INS alignment is having issues when using auto-startup, sometimes the counter stops, sometimes it goes backward.

I have seen something similar happen before the latest patch (can't remember the conditions), but at least it didn't CTD or freeze the game. The IDN and Boule were all messed up, but at least the pointer showed the correct position in RNAV mode.

Was on CWG IIRC.

So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!

Hello,

When I fly with Mirage F1 EE (Also CE), high likely game crashes. This is how it happened the last 10 times:

1. I fly on Contention CW (also happened in SP mode)

2. In the mid air, HSI starts spining around and within 15-30 secs game freezes and crashes.

I have no idea what triggers this but this happens quite often and always starts with HSI spin. It goes all over the place and 100% followed by game crash.

Thx

We at Aerges were analyzing this bug last days, realized that it was an issue with OB version and committed a fix. Probably related to ED's SDK as we hadn't made any changes in the code, just compiling new binaries was enough to solve it. Unfortunatly it didn't get to today's hotfix.
