Ancona served as a C-130 crucial logistical hub during humanitarian missions like the airlift to Sarajevo. No fighter squadron took off from there, however was a major staging and departure point for US and UN C-130 for many years during the conflict.

It is a small but full of character airstrip, adjacent to an oil refinery with a beautiful mountain (Mount Conero) in its proximity. It would be of both great historical value, as well as beneficial for gameplay purposes, giving that the latest DCS module is indeed the C-130 Hercules. 

With Ancona airport serving as key hub for the glorious C130, I think adding this airport to the map should be be unmissable (Over the years it has also been used by Tornado squadrons, PAN -Frecce Tricolori-, Apache squadron etc)

No worries! Thanks for getting back to me. 

Please consider it in the future. If anything, it would be great to have an airport like Ancona that's situated right in the centre of the Italian peninsula

I agree 100%!!!! Or else I see a lot of people don't buying the new map. They would like it to be 100% accurate. So with this historical airfield included to fly from.

Yes, Vrsac is a very important airport because of the famous pilot school. I think Vrsac in Serbia and Tivat in Montenegro are landmarks that have to be added for the Balkans map to be complete and have integrity.

It was a HQ and helicopter base for the German SFOR component in Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated 12km northwest of Sarajewo.

I'd actually vote for full Europe map. But Balkan should actually be called South Europe map and add a bit more of greece and italy.

I would love to see Zeltweg AFB in Austria included on the map. To be honest, I would prefer if every country on the map had at least one major airbase, as this would likely attract more players in the long run. And perhaps the green line could be moved a bit further toward Greece.

Details for Albania Airbases
Albania will make a nice Mig-15 and Mig-19 playground. The Kuçovë base near the city of Berat is of primary importance and the Gjadër Airstrip near Lezhe. Kuçove also has modern day significance being a NATO base, as well as the heliport in Farke near Tirana. Today, the Tirana airport is more civilian, but in the past was also used for the Rinas military base.  The Vlorë training base is of secondary importance, but would be nice to have for realistic training missions. Likewise Kukes in the NorthEast would be good.  
Order of importance imho: Kuçovë, Gjadër, and Rinas after that  Vlorë, Farkë. Then Kukës  would be nice to have for another point to land. Thanks for your attention to the Balkans.

Request for "Rajlovac" and "Butmir" helicopter bases in Sarajevo

Thank you OnReTech for the latest updates regarding this map. We are excited for the release.

On the latest airfield additions, we noticed some bases of utter importance are missing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are a lot of them that were used in action like in Bihać and Visoko but helicopter bases in Rajlovac and Butmir are extremely important for post-war actions in the country.

We have reviewed suggestions from our friends in the neighboring countries and agree with them. But since Bosnia and Herzegovina is located literally in the middle of the green texture zone, we are warmly suggesting adding these two helicopter bases and other before mentioned airfields if possible. 

Butmir military base is currently the NATO and EUFOR headquarters for peace operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Armed Forces of Bosnia are currently using these two bases as their main operating hubs for helicopter squadrons.
