Deadman
You might want to check your A-10 seat build looks a bit to much like a F-16 to me! Flim
Ya I know- working on the store pics ATM- The seat is the same besides the lower sides- I will cut some out here soon and update the pics.
Deadman
There are some major differences between the ACES II of the F-16 and the A-10 but the basic seat shape is the same in the older seats. The F-15 and A-10 seats are closer but there are some minor differences. That you can tell once you here seen a real seat here is a small pic of mine. Flim
Ya , that is what I changed from the f-16 to A-10. The upright is the same , but the sides are different from the f-16.
Deadman
There are quit a few more differences than that. you may want to plan a trip to a museum or a collection to get a better understanding of the seats. But hey its your business i should mine my own :pilotfly:Take care https://www.shapeways.com/shops/a-10c-warthog-supplies https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans. -Bazong-
Does anyone know the dimensions of these? "Screen" area as well as outer dimensions? Should be the same as the F-16 MFD's I suppose (?) but I can't find dimensions for those either... After some contemplation I'm considering getting these and putting them side by side on a 19" touch widescreen I have. Then I'll try to get the screen to display the MFD image in the TM MFD bezels and perhaps a touchbuddy layout or instruments (gauge composer maybe?) on the rest of the screen area.. MuggyMach3
so these MFDs are a perfect 5.55905-inch square? are there touchscreen LCDs available that fit? Edited November 6, 2009 by MuggyMach3
Feuerfalke
Why you want a touchscreen for an MFD? CyBerkut
so these MFDs are a perfect 5.55905-inch square? are there touchscreen LCDs available that fit? I'll second what Feuerfalke said/asked. A touchscreen would be a waste. A regular LCD (or whatever type) display would be good, as you let the button ring take your selection input, and then have the display change appropriately, as needed. hansangb
Yes. I got this one Amazon ASIN: B003LS95SG. It's a little wider, but it's trivial to cover up the extra screen. I used a cheap "For Sale" sign made of thin aluminum/tin and painted it matte black. Easy enough to cut with a pair of scissors and I kind of like the look. I can post some pics if anyone is curious. hsb hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1

Eihort
I used an old square Dell LCD I had lying around and some velcro. I used the included software configuration options for both Falcon, seen here, and DCS. No custom software required.
