Ya I know- working on the store pics ATM-

The seat is the same besides the lower sides- I will cut some out here soon and update the pics.

There are some major differences between the ACES II of the F-16 and the A-10 but the basic seat shape is the same in the older seats. The F-15 and A-10 seats are closer but there are some minor differences. That you can tell once you here seen a real seat here is a small pic of mine.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

Does anyone know the dimensions of these? "Screen" area as well as outer dimensions?

Should be the same as the F-16 MFD's I suppose (?) but I can't find dimensions for those either...

After some contemplation I'm considering getting these and putting them side by side on a 19" touch widescreen I have. Then I'll try to get the screen to display the MFD image in the TM MFD bezels and perhaps a touchbuddy layout or instruments (gauge composer maybe?) on the rest of the screen area..

Why you want a touchscreen for an MFD?

so these MFDs are a perfect 5.55905-inch square? are there touchscreen LCDs available that fit?

I'll second what Feuerfalke said/asked. A touchscreen would be a waste. A regular LCD (or whatever type) display would be good, as you let the button ring take your selection input, and then have the display change appropriately, as needed.

Flim sells Samsung U70's for that sort of thing as well:

MFD Cougar with Samsung 7" LCDs... here.

The dimensions of the MFD Cougar is almost spot on with the real bezels.

Yes. I got this one Amazon ASIN: B003LS95SG. It's a little wider, but it's trivial to cover up the extra screen. I used a cheap "For Sale" sign made of thin aluminum/tin and painted it matte black. Easy enough to cut with a pair of scissors and I kind of like the look. I can post some pics if anyone is curious.

I used an old square Dell LCD I had lying around and some velcro. I used the included software configuration options for both Falcon, seen here, and DCS. No custom software required.
